I loved the storyline where Todd (now known as Victor Jr) held Marty hostage and got her to fall in love with him. You shared a lot of onscreen chemistry with Trevor St. John. I feel that the writers should have allowed Marty to stay on the show until it ended. You could have done some amazing scenes with Roger Howarth (Todd) after he returned in May. I was a 16 year old high school sophmore who had been the victim of sexual abuse at the hands of my stepfather for over 10 years. I remember watching you break down on screen in my living room and not being able to breathe because of the truth an understanding you brought forth. Your vulnerabilty helped give me the strength to tell. First my best friend, then my mom. At the time I couldn't explain why you brought me to that place, but now I see how I related to your character. Thank you for taking on that role and for allowing yourself to bring the character of marti to her full potential. In some way, you truly did change the life of one person... me. I moved out of my parents house, and over the years got help and have been able to overcome my childhood. Thank you, Ms. Haskell, for helping me to make that first step.

Although your performances have been very moving, it truly breaks my heart to see what's become of Marty's character, after vieweing 'OLTL' for over thirty years now. In my opinion #and mine only#, she's gone from being raped, to building a life for yourself, only to be raped again in the worst way possible by the soaps. It broke our hearts to see the character of Cole depart, and now Marty is gone with NO word as to whether or not they will be allowed to return at some point in time. Lastly, as a veteran of these soaps #which seems to be loosing viewers as the years go by#, I've decided to 'end my viewership now that Marty, Cole, Evangeline, and Layla are now gone. However, not the reason I am communicating. Not knowing your background, acting history, and who you were I looked you up and found you in some way are associated with the brain injury community, which is why I am communicating your way. A couple of years back, I was diagnosed with MCI and likely CTE ( Chronic Traumatic encephalopathy ) as a result of a lifetime of concussive activity...11 concussions. You guys are doing a great acting job, but it reminds me,just a little bit, when Blair accused Todd of rape. I believe that Todd must fight this if not for himself atleast for his sons.
